AB de Villiers inducted into ICC Hall of Fame
The ICC announced its latest Hall of Fame inductees for 2024, which included former RCB batter, AB de Villiers, former Indian women’s cricketer, Neetu David and erstwhile English opener, Alastair Cook.
Some of the most iconic names on the list of earlier Hall of Fame inductees includes the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sir Donald Bradman, Jacques Kallis and Muttiah Muralitharan.
The list also stars iconic names from women’s cricket featuring the likes of Belinda Clarke, Charlotte Edwards and Diana Edulji, simply underlining the sheer magnificence of the catalogue.
The latest additions to this prized list recognized the extensive contributions to cricket by all the three superstars. Alastair Cook spearheaded England emphatically while racking up a significant number of records. AB de Villiers became a revolutionary batting force in modern-day cricket while Diana Edulji was a significant catalyst in women’s cricket in propelling the game forward.
