You’ve always been there – PV Sindhu’s heartfelt message for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli continues to be a blazing source of motivation for countless athletes across the face of the planet. Over the years, Kohli hasn’t just inspired cricketers but his legacy continues to galvanize athletes across multiple sports. One of the most prominent names that shouted it loud to the world was none other than India’s ace shuttler, PV Sindhu.
A two-time Olympic medallist and the 2019 World Champion, Sindhu opened up how Kohli has always been a major source of support for her across the days. Taking to Instagram, after her rendezvous at the RCB Innovation Lab Indian Sports Summit powered by Leaders, Sindhu wrote a heartfelt message for the erstwhile India and RCB captain.
Sindhu posted, “Every time I’ve needed guidance, you’ve always been there with the right advice and the right words. There is no better example of what a true senior in Indian sport should be: generous, grounded, inspiring, and always willing to lift others up.”
She concluded with a word about Kohli’s most important message to her, stating, “Never back down, PV.”
She also had a response to the same which said, “Advice taken. Keep being the absolute force of a human being that you are. Indian sport is better because of people like you.”
