When commentators showered high praises on RCB cricketers

Who doesn’t like a good story and when it's laced with the sport of cricket, it is a double-blockbuster, right? However, in order for a story to take off with a dynamic tempo and maintain a steady momentum until the end of the line, the storyteller becomes the Picasso of ancient art.

When it comes to cricket, commentators become the storytellers and stitch their words in a garland of anticipation laced with thrill, pomp and beauty, making it a narrative decked with its lavish bells and whistles. Take out the commentary and the contests will become a drab chronicle that would continue perfunctorily in the grim pastures behind wraps of antiquated colossal structures.

As we talk about commentary, IPL has starred a slew of amazing commentators, who over the years has summed up the contest in a fashion that has painted the extravaganza in the most bedazzling livery.

While navigating through stories of heroes and greater heroes, Gods and men, willow and cherries and most importantly, the drab and the emblazoning, we will bring you five comments that the commentators have come up with, to sum up the feats of the RCB players through the years, which will vary from international affairs to IPL chronicles, from 2008 to 2021 and once again, from the good to the greater good.

Indian commentary icon, Harsha Bhogle cited on ABD’s onslaught, “Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seat belts. We are ready for the take-off.”

BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly once underlined former RCB captain, Rahul Dravid’s resilience to David Lloyd citing, “This time? He has done it time and again. He has done it day in and day out for 15 years!”

Former English spinner, Graeme Swann captured the essence of Virat’s captaincy in the field as he cited, “Virat Kohli set very good fields. They had men in the outfield and also put a lot of pressure around the bat. They had deep men posted as well to tell to England 'if you are going to tee off, you will get caught in the deep.”

Illustrious New Zealand batter, Danny Morrison quipped about Chris Gayle’s dynamics in T20s, citing, “Oh, Chris please stay in there for 10 overs more. This guy is the greatest entertainer in this format of the game ever.”

Brian Lara painted Kohli’s captaincy for RCB in the best ways possible as he cited, “If I was the franchise owner, for him to continue because Virat Kohli the player and Virat Kohli the leader, it's two different people I think and such a high-profile player and still very young, willing to play for a handful more years under the leadership of someone else.”
