We've got good amount of experience from last season – Mo Bobat on RCB’s preparation
In less than a few hours, IPL 2026 will begin as RCB is all set to set foot on the field in the curtain-raiser against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Before the cricketing storm takes centerstage, RCB’s Director of cricket, Mo Bobat opened up on the team's return to Chinnaswamy.
Talking on RCB Game Day, Bobat highlighted what can be the potential conditions in Chinnaswamy while adding to that how well the Royal Challengers are prepared to confront it all. He also had a very special message for the fans ahead of RCB’s season-opener against SRH.
Talking on RCB Game Day, Mo Bobat said, “Great to be back here in Bengaluru. We've enjoyed our prep period. The boys have practised really hard and they seem to be in a really good place.”
Shedding light on the conditions of Chinnaswamy, Bobat added, “There hasn't been a lot of cricket that's been played here, as we know, over the last year, if any. So a bit difficult to know how the wicket will play, but we've got a good amount of experience from last season, and the boys have adjusted quite well so far.”
Highlighting the overall vibe of the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bobat stated, “It's nice to see the stadium taking shape and looking a bit more red again, and I'm looking forward to seeing and feeling a packed house. I'm sure the fans will make lots of noise, and the boys are really excited.”
