We’re happy with the way our squad is right now – Malolan Rangarajan
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be taking to the yard against Lucknow Super Giants in what is a crucial battle. A win for RCB will propel them to the pole position after Punjab Kings were pipped by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Talking ahead of RCB’s clash against LSG in the pre-match presser, RCB’s spin bowling coach Malolan Rangarajan opened up on how RCB might take call on picking the right combination ahead of the game against LSG.
The last two games in Ekana saw batters struggling. Malolan pointed out that RCB have players who can make the difference. He underlined the fact that going by the situation, RCB will be taking a call ahead of the game itself.
Malo said, “We don’t fiddle too much with our combinations. We have Krunal Pandya who’s been doing very well for us, Suyash Sharma is another option and then we have four pacers. We’re happy with the way our squad is right now, and we’ll try to adapt to what we see tomorrow.”
Underlining the immediate objective of the side, Malo added, “We’re always looking as a unit at how we can improve and the trends in the tournament, how we can capitalise on those things. Our focus is now on this next game.”
