We will come back stronger – Andy Flower

RCB had another bad day in office as they went down battling against the might of Sunrisers Hyderabad. In a record run-chase, they fought really hard, putting all hands on deck. Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik were the three key components in the humongous run-chase for the hosts.

RCB’s head coach, Andy Flower opened up on how he was very proud of the fight and how he loved what the boys brought to the mix despite being handed over a colossal target.

In the dressing room chat video on the official YouTube channel of RCB, Andy said, “Fellows, firstly I was really proud of the way we fought with the bat out there. We lost the game but I was really proud of the way you fought there.”

He continued, “DK, you making a push for the World Cup team as well? (smirks). Well done mate, you are only getting better. It was really a tough night in the field of course. They finished so powerfully, it probably took the wind out of our souls. We will have a think. We will come back stronger. It’s obviously knock out time. Every game is now a semi-final game for us.”
