We have not received any suggestion from BCCI to move the 4th Test out of the Gabba: CA chief executive Nick Hockley
There has been a lot of speculation regarding the hesitancy of Indian players to play the final Test at the Gabba in Brisbane due to stringent quarantine protocols. According to a few reports, it is believed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) could ask Cricket Australia to move the final Test out of Brisbane.
However, Cricket Australia chief Nick Hockley dismissed all the speculation as he confirmed that they haven't received a formal request from BCCI to move the Test to another venue. “We’ve had nothing formal from the BCCI to suggest anything other than they’re supportive. Both teams have wanted to play the schedule as we’ve set out.” - Hockley was quoted as saying to reporters in Sydney.
The outbreak of the virus has promoted Queensland to shut its borders with Sydney. With Cricket Australia and the respective government working in close liaison to avoid any hiccups for the fourth Test, the intricacies of quarantine restrictions in Brisbane is yet to be known.
Acting on the advice of the NSW Government, we're working together with Venues NSW to ensure the safety of patrons attending the Vodafone Pink Test, with a crowd capacity limited to 25% initially.

In other news, the support staff and the players of both the teams tested negative on Monday before flying out to Sydney from Melbourne. The third Test between India and Australia, slated to be held in Sydney from Thursday, will only be limited to 25% of the crowd's capacity.
