We have got good athletes in our squad: Faf du Plessis

If there has been one thing that has been extremely consistent for the Royal Challengers Bangalore throughout the latest edition of the tournament, it has been their electric fielding. The youngsters have put in some excellent efforts in the field that has contributed imperatively to the soaring spirits in the dressing room.

Even in the contest against the Super Giants, Suyash Prabhudessai pulled off a fine catch while Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Anuj Rawat were simply mind-bending on the field. They didn’t hesitate to throw their bodies on the field and the discipline was impeccable.

Faf was exceptionally happy to see his team echo his sentiments and put in the best of their efforts on the ground, which has seen the Challengers doing so well in the latest edition of the fray. “We have got good athletes in our squad. We want to make sure that we are bringing this intensity every time to the ground,” he revealed.

He further talked about his team’s bowling as he said, “Our bowlers are doing their job, but it is also a help to put up such electric fielding. We just want to make sure that out of all the teams that there are, we should have the best athletes on the field.”

Faf himself put in a rollicking effort that saw him saving two crucial runs that had fears of him injuring himself but in the end, it was all smiles as he stood back up, dusted himself, and got back into the grind.
