Watch – Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik conjure some crazy striking in the death overs against KKR
In the shortest format of the game or let’s just say, cricket’s fast lane, maximums are a crucial part of the game. And despite the run-flow somewhat stalling in the center, RCB finished with a bang with the bat against KKR, courtesy of Dinesh Karthik and Virat Kohli.
DK clubbed a staggering 20 from just 8 balls, hammering three sixes in the process while VK stayed unbeaten for a brilliant 83. However, it was the last two overs of the innings, in fact, the last nine balls that saw four sixes being hit, which propelled RCB to 182.
Just in case you missed out on the late flourish from the hosts of the last game, DK smashed Russell for two sixes in the 19th over. First was the fourth ball of the over as Dinesh Karthik went underneath it and clobbered him over long-off. The following one though was flat-batted by DK over long-on.
There were two more biggies in the final over as Kohli deposited Starc over cow corner before DK sent the ball flying over fine leg with a brilliant pick up shot. You can watch the video here:
