Twitterati hails Mohammed Siraj's maiden five-fer
In the absence of veteran bowlers, Mohammed Siraj spearheaded the bowling attack quite commendably, skittling Australia out in both the innings at the Gabba. On a riveting Day 4, the pacer got rid of Josh Hazlewood to register a maiden five-wicket haul in Tests.

Not long ago, Siraj lost his father midway through the series. The BCCI offered him an option to fly back to India but he insisted to stay back and fulfil his father's dream of donning the whites for Team India. Two months later, the 26-year-old etched his name in history books, becoming the first Indian bowler to take five-fer at the Gabba since 2003.
Former India pacer RP Singh showered praise and said that Siraj's father would be smiling down on him from heaven.
“Well done Siraj! Your father would be so proud of you. Your success is beyond wickets. This 5 wicket haul is a memorable effort. Now, it's up to our batsmen! I am excited for a great chase. #INDvsAUSTest #brisbanetest, ” RP Singh wrote.
