As RCB prepares for the 19th iteration of the Indian Premier League, all eyes will be on their captain, Rajat Patidar who opened up at length about how it all felt after winning the title and the mindset going forward.
In an exclusive chat with Cricbuzz, Patidar highlighted key pointers ahead of the season and expressed faith in all his players to deliver in a season where the Royal Challengers had an impeccable run.
Explaining what has changed since the title win, Patidar added, “I believe that the first title that we won, that is past now. This year we are not defending anything. The opportunity is that we can win back-to-back championships. My mindset is that we are not defending anything. The mindset is that we are here to win and this year as well, we want to be the champions.”
The hunt for RCB’s second title begins on 28th March, where they will be locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in a game which will be played in Bengaluru.
