The goal is to win the IPL title – Virat Kohli on being retained by RCB
As RCB retained Virat Kohli for another three-year cycle, it evoked a plethora of reactions from the fans, who expressed their excitement at the King's signing ahead of what promises to be an exciting IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
In the latest Bold Diaries video, Kohli shared a message where he highlighted his special bond with RCB and the goals he has in mind for the forthcoming future.
Virat said, “I don’t see myself anywhere other than RCB and I am very happy that it happened. I am very excited that I got a chance to create a strong new squad in this auction, something that we are really looking forward to as a franchise, as a team. I am also just looking forward to this cycle, obviously the goal is to win the IPL title, at least once in the next cycle.”
He continued, “We are going to give it our best shot as always and try to make everyone proud of the way we play our cricket. A big shout out to the fans for your unwavering support over so many years. I am really grateful, really thankful and I’ll see you guys very soon at the Chinnaswamy. Cheers, take care.”
It has been a long journey for King Kohli with RCB. He joined the journey in the very inaugural edition of the tournament itself after having a successful U-19 World Cup in Malaysia. He had the promise and RCB always knew that they had found someone very special. The King never really stopped from working hard and his ascendancy turned a simply brighter page with every passing day and here he is, all set to open up another glistening chapter in IPL 2025.
