The BCCI appoints Sunil Joshi as chairman of selectors
4th March 2020: On Wednesday, The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising of Madan Lal, Rudra Pratap Singh, and Sulakshana Naik met at the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) headquarters in Mumbai to select the members of the All-India Senior Selection Committee (Men).
With the recommendation of CAC, the BCCI has named former Indian team spinner as well as the former Karnataka captain - Sunil Joshi as the next chairman of selectors.
Sunil Joshi was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad in the first-ever season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Along with Sunil Joshi, Harvinder Singh has also been included in the All-India Senior Selection Committee.

Sunil Joshi and Harvinder Singh will be handed one-year contracts
The CAC will review the candidates after a one-year period and provide their recommendations to the BCCI. The two new members will join Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh, and Jatin Paranjape, who will finish their term later this year, in the selection committee.
