Most number of centuries:

Rohit Sharma leads the chart with two centuries from the two games that he has been a part of. He smashed 137 at Melbourne in 2015 apart from 104 at Edgbaston in 2019.

Most number of sixes:

Rohit Sharma has whacked eight sixes against Bangladesh which remains the highest till date in this feud in the ODI World Cups.

Highest partnership:

Virat Kohli and Virender Sehwag’s partnership of 203 runs for the third wicket in Mirpur in 2011 still remains to be the highest partnership in the four World Cup meetings that these two sides have had.

Most wickets:

Munaf Patel holds the record for highest number of wickets in this rivalry with six wickets in two matches that he has played against Bangladesh in the World Cup.

Best bowling figures:

Mustafizur Rahman is the only one to claim a fifer in the history of the tournament, an achievement that came in 2019. In the same match, for India, Jasprit Bumrah claimed a four-fer to register the feat of highest wicket-taker in the Indian threads.

Most number of matches played:

For India it is MS Dhoni who featured in all the four matches while for Bangladesh it is the famed trio of Shakib al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim who all have four matches under their belt too.
