Stars come out in numbers for Puma x RCB 12th Man Takeover
Sunil Chhetri is an Indian icon and has been the forbearer of Indian football for a decade now. He almost single-handedly spearheads the Indian attacking lines and is an inspiration for countless young athletes. Narrowing it down to the club levels, he is also the captain of Bengaluru FC, the franchise hailing from Bengaluru in the Indian Super League, the nation’s premium footballing revelry.
Chhetri previously talked about his love for RCB in an interview with Danish Sait, quoting, “I am an RCB fan. There’s a small conflict of interest. My owners are Jindals (JSW) who have BFC but they also have Delhi Capitals. Initially, there were talks, not from the management… but Delhi Capital is coming to play, you should go and wear their jersey and be there. I said no chance. There is only one jersey and that is RCB.”
Sunil Chhetri took to Instagram and posted a snap with his latest Puma RCB jersey, giving a loud shout to the franchise as they prepare for their final game of the group stages. They are currently stationed in the fifth position of the points table and will be desperately hoping for a win that could see them staying afloat in the hunt for play-offs.
This gesture from the Indian football skipper was also a call to the 12th Man Army to join the Puma x RCB 12th Man Takeover at the Jayamahal Palace where a carnival waits for our beloved fans. Well, it isn’t just Sunil Chhetri who has called out for the 12th Man Army to take over the Jayamahal Palace in a one-of-a-kind event that would be bringing the entire squadron of fans together.
He was joined by other celebrities and athletes who would come together in calling out the 12th Man Army as they prepare themselves for the battle. Indian cricketer, Priya Punia proudly flaunted her RCB Puma collection as she asked the fans to assemble. Another Indian cricketer, Harleen Deol would also join the battle cry of Puma x RCB 12th Man Takeover.
One of India’s most successful pugilists would also join the showdown as MC Mary Kom would sport her RCB Puma collection while asking for the supporters to flock in numbers. Sushma Verma would pose with a broad smile in the perfect RCB Puma collection calling out loudly for the fans to arrive in numbers.
Another proud member of the Indian hockey team, Navneet Kaur would simply bedazzle the parade with her RCB Puma armor as the fans prepare to join the mega-event. Navneet Kaur, one of the most commanding forces in the Indian hockey echelons came forth in her RCB Puma collection as she relayed the message aloud for the fans to take over Jayamahal Palace.
Asian Player of Year in 2018 and FIH Player of the Year in 2020-21, Harmanpreet Singh would request the RCB fans to shower their love for the franchise on the brink of an absolute blockbuster event. The latest addition to the cavalcade of stars who would come together for the shoutout was rising Indian footballing sensation, Sahal Abdul Samad as the screams for the Puma x RCB 12th Man Takeover get louder than ever.
