Parallel to the ODI World Cup going on in full swing, the Indian fans are also savouring a domestic bonanza with a double treat in the form of the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. India’s premier T20 tournament in the domestic circuit has birthed countless talents, and this edition is no different.

With a number of stars on display, there have been a few RCB talents who have proved their worth in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Here is a quick glance at how few of our Royal Challengers rocked the show yesterday in India’s premier T20 tournament.

1.    Suyash Prabhudessai – 58 (41)

The hard-hitting middle-order batter was back in the thick of things with a blitz that blew away Railways after a fine show by the Goa batters. Chasing 200, Goa found themselves in trouble with two of their openers back in the hut in no time. However, the arrival of Suyash ensured the fact that Goa remained in the hunt and despite a slow start, he was quick to switch gears and hammer a well-orchestrated 58 to bring Goa back in the game. He smashed three fours and four sixes during his stay in the center.

2.    Siddharth Kaul – 3/28

In another high-scoring encounter, Punjab had the last laugh as one of their trademark aces, Siddharth Kaul led the bowling display against the formidable batting unit of Gujarat. Chasing 234, Gujarat were reduced to 28/4, courtesy of the double trouble forged by Kaul and Arshdeep Singh. Kaul bagged the first two wickets of the innings in the form of Urvil Patel and Saurav Chauhan before removing Umang Kaul with a brilliant delivery.

3.    Karn Shama – 3/36

It wasn’t particularly a happy ending for Railways but Karn Sharma produced a stunning display with the ball in his hands that did give Goa a run for their money. Karn Sharma’s opening scalp of the day was that of Krishnamurthy Siddharth while he followed that up with the big wicket of Goa’s captain, Darshan Misal. Making it two out of two, Karn claimed Vikash Kanwar Singh on the very first ball of his innings, showcasing his experience.
