As the famed American franchise league came to an end, RCB skipper, Faf du Plessis, put on a show to remember, smashing 420 runs to become the leading run-scorer of the tournament.

Carrying his fine form from the IPL, he had an early hiccup to brave but the kind of destructive show that he posted left everyone in awe of the hard-hitting Protean.

Representing the Texas franchise, he registered scores of 100, 61, 55, 39, 72 and 45 to be the ace in their batting echelons. Apart from the RCB skipper, the Trans-Tasmanian duo of Glenn Maxwell and Lockie Ferguson sizzled with their crackling showdowns for their teams as well.

The Aussie all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell blasted 153 runs from eight matches at a stunning strike rate of 149.52 while impressing with the ball in his hands as well, registering 10 wickets at an economy rate of 6.66 while donning the threads of the Washington franchise.

The Kiwi Express, Lockie Ferguson was Washington’s pace spearhead, dishing out absolute belters to leave the batters spooked. From the seven games that he played, he registered 10 scalps at an economy rate of 7.26 while claiming best figures of 4/26 to headline the bowling attack.
