Rivalries are what makes any sport beautiful – Dinesh Karthik on RCB vs CSK clash

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru enter the yard for one of their fiercest rivalries as they lock horns with their arch-rivals, Chennai Super Kings. This rivalry has now transcended into a realm of cricketing folklore and it will just be stepping into another glistening chapter.

Talking on the latest episode of RCB Game Day, batting coach and mentor, Dinesh Karthik, opened up on the importance of this rivalry. He highlighted how charged up the players are for this imminent clash and the spirit in the dugout.

DK said, “Yes, there is a rivalry between RCB and CSK. You can see fans of both cities go and do whatever possible to get one up on each other and that's the beauty. This tournament and in general too, rivalries are what makes any sport beautiful.”

Adding a word about the players, Karthik said, “It's fair to say the players are more geared up, charged up, and they want to do everything possible to do well on a given day like this for their franchise, and RCB have and will definitely do everything possible to try and get one over CSK.”
