RCB Game Day – “Key is not relying on the same person every match”

RCB’s second home game will be against DC and coming on the back of a win against MI and with three victories from four matches, they will be hopeful of putting up another fine performance to continue the dominant run that they have knitted together until now.
Talking on the RCB Game Day, Mo Bobat, RCB’s Director of cricket, alongside Liam Livingstone talked about the momentum procured on the back of the three wins in the first four games and how the team is thinking ahead of the DC challenge.
Mo said, “Pleasing to bank those three wins in quite challenging venues, against big teams and in a couple of cases, certainly in Chennai’s case, surfaces that can be quite tricky. They’re only one game each and two points each. It is still a long way to go. So we’re certainly not getting carried away. We just want to take that confidence and the confidence just doesn’t come from the result. It comes from the way you play.”
English all-rounder Liam Livingstone said, “I think we have been given a lot of freedom from the coaches. It’s obviously nice that we’ve got a long batting line up, so we have the confidence that we bat all the way down to eight or nine. So yeah, it’s nice, we’ve had people step up. I think that the key to a good team is not relying on the same people every game.”
