RCB Game Day: It will be special - Rajat Patidar on captaining RCB at the Chinnaswamy

As RCB gear up for their first home game of the season, skipper Rajat Patidar expressed his excitement on leading the team in front of the 12th Man Army.

On the latest episode of RCB Game Day, Patidar shared his thoughts on the new role.

Patidar said, “I have a new role here in the Chinnaswamy to lead the side. It will always be special. It’s our first home game and I will have a chance to lead alongside our 12th Man Army.”

Patidar also addressed RCB’s positive start to the tournament, with the team heading into the home game on the bak of wins from both their first two away games.

He said, “Whichever tournament you are entering, I feel the games at the start are very important because that gives you momentum.”

He further added, “So I feel the two away games that we played in Chepauk and against KKR, both were tough competitors. And we won against them in away conditions. This is a good sign and you get a lot of help when you win the starting two matches. It gives you momentum and confidence heading into the upcoming matches.”

Patidar concluded with a note for the fans, stating, “We will have extra support. And as I have always said, the way fans have supported us, the way they have supported us in the last two to three years, I consider myself very lucky. We’ll try our best in our first home match.
