RCB desperate to return to winning ways against UP Warriorz

The Royal Challengers are all set to rumble again as they will be playing out UP Warriorz in a high-octane battle to stay afloat in the WPL 2025 season. Four losses on the trot have dented their chances but the table still stays fairly open and a win against the Warriorz can get the wheels back in motion even though it will come forth with lots of permutations and combinations.
Despite the mounting woes, Ellyse Perry’s form has been a silverlining for RCB while they will be desperately hoping to see their captain, Smriti Mandhana back in runs. Renuka Singh has led the bowling unit phenomenally, however, dearth of support at the other end has left the Royal Challengers shaky.
The Warriorz aren’t exactly in the best of shape either. They have lost three games on the bounce and more importantly had a very close shave with RCB the last time these two teams came face to face. It led to the historic super over that saw UP walking away with the bragging rights. With revenge on the cards, expect RCB to come out all guns.
Venue Watch
With the WPL caravan shifting base to Lucknow, the surface has previously been a friend to the spinners. There will always be a significant hint of turn which will need some smart batting from both the teams. As dew comes on in the second half, batting will get a lot easier as the ball will be skidding off the surface.
