RCB Bold Diaries – Virat Kohli lauds the ever-evolving sports infrastructure in India

As Bengaluru stayed witness to the latest edition of the RCB Innovation Lab Indian Sports Summit powered by Leaders, Virat Kohli highlighted how there has been a collective development of sports all across the globe.

He also pointed out that India has started taking the right steps towards being built as a sports nation. From mapping the right facilities to combining the apt infrastructure for a sport to grow, Kohli was all praise about the promising dawn that awaits India in the near offing.

Virat Kohli said, “Over the last few years, there has been a significant improvement and growth in all the other sports of the nation, men and women. I think collectively the way we are progressing as a country and the kind of belief people have in themselves now that they can go to the global stage and achieve and be the best in the world, I think the starting point really comes from there.”

He continued, “If you don’t have the right kind of facilities, then it becomes increasingly difficult. I think the way the facilities have shaped up in the last few years and the structure that is getting built as we speak, is only heading into greater heights.”
