RCB Bold Diaries: Glenn Maxwell shares his injury update ahead of IPL 2023

IPL 2023 is all set to kick off in less than a week’s time and one of RCB’s vital cogs, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, is raring to get back on the field and give it his best. Maxwell is working towards full fitness after recovering from a major injury when he fractured his leg at a birthday party which the all-rounder has described as one of the most painful chapters of his life.

On the latest episode of the RCB Bold Diaries, Maxwell answered a few quick questions that would clarify any possible uncertainties around his fitness. Talking about playing at the Chinnaswamy, Maxwell said, “In the last couple of years, that is everything that players have talked about, so finally to get back here after a couple of years, it’s very exciting and we are all pretty pumped to play in front of our home fans finally.”

He shared an update about his injury too, adding, “The legs are okay. It’s alright. It’s still going to be a couple of months before I am at my 100% but hopefully, it is good enough to get through this tournament and still do the job.”

Maxi had a special message for the fans to finish things off, adding, “See you all at the Chinnaswamy stadium.”
