The long wait for IPL 2023 is all set to come to an end with the season featuring a star-studded clash between defending champions, Gujarat Titans and one of the most successful teams in the history of IPL, Chennai Super Kings.

This is going to be a sizzling encounter that will feature two very powerful contenders who have so far written a legacy that very few can match. CSK, though, will be coming to this contest on the back of a forgettable season that saw them registering 4 wins from the entirety of IPL 2022.

Gujarat Giants, on the other hand, rocked their very first edition of the tournament as they seized the trophy at the first shy, beating Rajasthan Royals in the grand finale, showcasing their collective brilliance coupled with consistency that helped them cross the finish line.

A lot of individual battles will be up on display in the contest that would be spearheaded by two captains, Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni, followed by a long queue of overseas names such as Ben Stokes, Rashid Khan among others. Drama awaits us all as the curtain-raiser for IPL is all set to unfold at Ahmedabad.
