May the best team win, which is RCB – Krunal Pandya
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be locking horns against Mumbai Indians in a few hours from now. After a stutter along the way, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be raring to get back to winning ways. Ahead of RCB’s crucial clash against Mumbai Indians, former MI all-rounder Krunal Pandya reminisced about RCB’s last win over Mumbai in Wankhede while he also opened up on playing against his brother, Hardik Pandya.
It was a high-scoring encounter back in Wankhede in 2025. Batting first, RCB tallied 221/5. At the end of it all, Mumbai fell short of the finish line by 12 runs. Krunal Pandya was tasked with bowling the final over where 19 runs were needed. Pandya struck twice in the first two balls and the equation got completely out of control for MI. KP finished with figures of 4/45 from his four overs.
Talking on RCB Game Day, KP said, “So our next game is against Mumbai in Mumbai, in one. It was great the last game. We won it in the last over and I was the one who was bowling the last over. So yeah, it was a good game. It's always special to play at one place whenever I step onto in that ground, it gives me nostalgic vibes.”
Shedding light on the feeling of playing against his brother, Pandya added, “Yes, I'll be playing against my brother, but nothing changes, you know. We both are quite good competitors, but we are brothers at the end of the day. We give everything on the field and may the best team win, which is RCB.”
