Look at the hitting part - Rahul Dravid on India’s dominating run in T20Is

In recent times, India has been an absolute powerhouse in T20Is. The defending champions of the world in the shortest format of the game have shown that they are always ready for every challenge that comes their way. From Abhishek Sharma to Suryakumar Yadav, from Rinku Singh to Shivam Dube, the striking power in cricket’s fastest lane has been insane.

As India registered their 11th T20I series win on the trot, former Indian captain and coach, Rahul Dravid, opened up on what makes the Indian side perfect for the shortest format of the game. He emphasized on how the IPL has brought in a hard-hitting revolution from which India is reaping handsome dividends.

Talking to ESPNCricinfo, Rahul Dravid said, “You look at the hitting part, and the way people are hitting today in white-ball cricket, it's because they are able to practise it a lot more. A lot of these boys who spend two-and-a-half months in the IPL, all they are doing is practising how many sixes they can hit, so they are getting much better at it."

India is all set to start their title defence in the ICC T20 World Cup as they will be starting their campaign against USA on 7th February.
