Jasprit Bumrah crowned as ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2024

One of cricket's most dominating performances in the history of the sport across formats saw Jasprit Bumrah trump others emphatically to clinch the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2024 award. In what seemed like a grind to remember, Bumrah carried forth a refreshing stream of consistency and eventually disseminated his hold over the game in stunning fashion, running away with the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy.

This triumph helped Jasprit Bumrah to join an elite list of Indian cricketers, featuring only the likes of Virat Kohli (2018), Ravichandran Ashwin (2016) and Rahul Dravid (2004) who won the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year and the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year in the same year.
