Harshal Patel would make a turnaround for the ages to remember him as one of the RCB icons, coming back from a split webbing to defining the fate of the eliminator.

The medium-fast bowler would bowl a match-winning spell that would also see him claiming the massive wicket of Marcus Stoinis alongside the miserly display that he would stitch to leave the Giants stuttering in the face of a colossal chase.

At the post-match conference, speaking about his injury, he said, “My hand's fine, but there's a bit of an issue. I am happy as long as I can bowl my 24 balls.” 

Harshal would also break down about his preparations for the eliminator that led to the key wicket of Marcus Stoinis. “I was looking at my stats the other day, and figured out my hard length balls are going at 7.5 an over. I had a plan to bowl wide to Stoinis, but it didn't come off well. So, I went back to whatever worked for me in the first two overs.”

Speaking about the team finally breaking the eliminator voodoo, Harshal concluded, “It feels exceptional, I can't describe the feeling. We want to come out as a good team and come out well on top from here on.”
