10:40 PM - A triple strike in the final rounds and RCB land Lungi Ngidi, Abhinandan Singh and Mohit Rathee as we officially conclude the IPL 2025 mega-auction. 

9:34 PM – Leading run-scorer of the UP T20 league, Swastik Chikara will be joining the Red, Gold and Blue threads for IPL 2025. Bought at INR 30 lakh, which was his base price, Chikara is all set to rock and roll for RCB.

9:32 PM – Our local lad returns home! Devdutt Padikkal will be joining RCB for IPL 2025 for his base price of INR 2 crore.

7:35 PM - Power and fury blended together in a nutshell is the 21-year-old English youngster, Jacob Bethell. INR 2.6 crore in for the English all-rounder and we have another dynamite in our ranks.

7:29 PM - Manoj Bhandage comes back to RCB for IPL 2025 at a base price of INR 30 lakh. His domestic dominion was too hard to oversee and here he is all set to rock and roll once again in the Red, Blue and Gold threads.

6:50 PM – Our latest addition to the RCB Class of 2025 is the exciting Sri Lankan fast bowler, Nuwan Thushara. Bagged at a price of INR 1.6 crore, the Sri Lankan quick will be donning the Red, Gold and Blue threads in IPL 2025.

6:45 PM - The Caribbean all-rounder is all set to adorn the ranks of RCB for IPL 2025. Bagged at a base price of INR 1.5 crore, Romario Shepherd is raring to hammer away at will in the Red, Gold and Blue threads.

6:24 PM – Homecoming for the hard-hitting Aussie all-rounder, Tim David! Coming in hot at INR 3 crore, Tim David will be reconciling with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for IPL 2025. We can’t keep calm to see those skyscrapers take flight.

6:02 PM – Coming back in the Red, Blue and Gold is one of the most instrumental all-rounders from IPL 2024, Swapnil Singh. The man who can whack the ball by a fair mile in the lower-middle order, bag a handful of crucial wickets at any point in time and more importantly an excellent team player, Swapnil Singh rejoins RCB for INR 50 lakh.

4:52 PM – We come to the end of the all-important sets. With two big buys in Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, RCB has already rolled the dice. We now head into a lunch break and are planning to go all guns blazing in the accelerated part of the auction. Stay tuned, everyone.

4:25 PM – New ball menace, bending the ball to his will, and the winner of the Purple Cap for two editions, Bhuvneshwar Kumar joins the Red, Gold and Blue brigade for IPL 2025. Bought for INR 10.75 crore, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to rumble through in Namma Ooru. 

 

3:52 PM – And our wheels are in motion on Day 2 at Jeddah. It is Krunal Pandya with whom we start our second day gala. The experienced all-rounder is all set to don the Red, Gold and Blue threads in IPL 2025 for INR 5.75 crore.

11:10 PM – Day 1 of the IPL 2025 Mega-auction comes to an end. It was a day rife with names from the hard-hitting cricketing folklore and a handful of young guns for RCB. RCB claimed Liam Livingstone, Phil Salt, Jitesh Sharma, Josh Hazlewood, Rasikh Salam Dar and Suyash Sharma to conclude the day. We are going to wait for names big and anew on day two. 11:07 PM – And we close the day with young leg-spinner, Suyash Sharma. For INR 2.6 crore, RCB has bagged the exciting leggie who knitted webs of mystery around the batters. 

10:31 PM – Hi folks, it’s been a while and we come back with the exciting young name of Rasikh Salam Dar. Hailing all the way from Jammu and Kashmir, Rasikh left the recently concluded ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Asia Cup with a lasting impression. Bought for INR 6 crore, Rasikh will be donning the Red, Blue and Gold threads in IPL 2025.

9:05 PM - At the end of the spinners' set, RCB sit with a handful of top buys. Josh Hazlewood, Jitesh Sharma, Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone are so far the big guns for RCB in the latest edition of the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Stay tuned for more updates.

8:07 PM – The Bendemeer Bullet is coming back home. The josh is high as ever as Josh Hazlewood is all set to don the Red, Gold and Blue threads once again at INR 12.50 crore. The wheels have started rolling again and how excited are you, folks?

 

8:04 PM – It’s all about the power he brings to the platter. Rock-solid with the bat, an unparalleled accelerator and an ace with the glove, Jitesh Sharma comes to Namma Ooru. Bought at INR 11 crore, Jitesh will be donning the Red, Gold and Blue for IPL 2025.

 

7:47 PM – A very special opener and a wrecker-in-chief of bowlers too special to gild the ranks. RCB lands Phil Salt for INR 11.50 crore as their second buy of the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Namma Ooru awaits your rampage in the Red, Gold and Blue.

 

6:50 PM - Hello everyone, how are you all doing? It's been a while since we have caught up. As far as the auction goes, RCB has picked up Liam Livingstone. Still plenty of big names to come and we can't keep calm. Stay tuned, folks.

5:25 PM – And the second set comes to an end. RCB’s solitary pick so far has been Liam Livingstone. The hard-hitting English all-rounder was brought for INR 8.75 crore. Apart from Livingstone, RCB did go hammer and tongs for the likes of KL Rahul and David Miller but at the end, it was not to be. A quick break for lunch and we will be back shortly. 

5:14 PM – And the account opens! First buy of IPL 2025 mega-auction is the hard-hitting English all-rounder, Liam Livingstone. A game-changer, a storm-bringer and most importantly, a ton of experience, Liam Livingstone joins RCB for INR 8.75 crore

 

 

4:40 PM – We come to the end of the first round of IPL 2025 mega-auction. There were quite a few paddles raised. RCB did try and land the likes of Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada, Mitchell Starc and Rishabh Pant. Sadly, the stars were not meant to be align. However, we are just starting and warming up! Stay tuned, folks. The excitement is finally starting to crackle.

4:15 PM – It has been a while fellas, since the battle of the paddles started. A quick round-up until now. RCB did raise the paddle for a couple of pace guns namely Arshdeep Singh and Kagiso Rabada.
