Wicket-keeper batter, Yastika Bhatia, who replaced Uma Chetry, and Shreyanka Patil, both of whom have been added to the squad subject to fitness, are also a part of this camp in Bengaluru.
The report also states that as a part of the preparation, the Indian women will be playing a couple of intra-squad matches which are expected to be day games due to the unavailability of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and the Alur facility. In the biennial extravaganza, however, India will be playing three of their four group stage fixtures under the lights.
The players will have a short break of four days after the conclusion of the camp. Following that, they will be reassembling in Mumbai for their departure to UAE which is slated to happen on September 24th.
