India vs Pakistan clash set for June 9th; T20 World Cup 2024 to commence on June 1st in USA

India have been grouped alongside Pakistan for the T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to start on June 1st, 2024. The two arch-rivals will also have Ireland, Canada and co-hosts United States of America as the other members of Group A. 

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash will be on June 9th in New York, four days after the Men in Blue kick-off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5th.

India will play all of their group stage matches in the USA, before they shift base to West Indies if they make it to the Super Eight stages, which will feature the top two teams qualifying across the four groups.

The 2024 World Cup, which features 20 countries, will kick-start with the opening clash between USA and Canada, two nations which will make their men’s T20 World Cup debut. The final is slated to be held on June 29th.
