India vs England: Virat Kohli breaks multiple records en route his unbeaten knock of 80 against England
Virat Kohli and milestones have become synonymous for a while now. It has now gotten to a point where every time he strides out to bat, he has the chance to set a new record.
On Saturday, the India skipper en route his half-century scripted several records. He eclipsed Aaron Finch’s record of most runs by a captain in T20I internationals. With a total of 1502 runs, he went past the Australian limited-overs captain’s tally of 1462 runs.

In the process, the 32-year-old surpassed Kane Willaimson, becoming the captain with the most half-centuries in T20 internationals. He currently has 12 half-centuries to his name followed by New Zealand skipper, who has 11 half-centuries.

The skipper roared back to the form with a spectacular batting performance in the recently concluded series. His tally of 231 runs is the highest aggregate total for any batsman in a bilateral T20I series.
