India enter another do-or-die battle against upbeat West Indies as 4th T20I comes knocking

Another do-or-die battle awaits the Men in Blue as they hope to level the series against a formidable West Indies unit in the 4th T20I, a match from which the result can very well seal the fate of the tour.

After a steady start for the visitors in which West Indies went up 2-0, India fought their way back, keeping their chances alive as they got the better of the hosts through a scintillating batting display. Suryakumar Yadav played the lead act of the show while Tilak Varma knitted together another crucial role to help India keep the series alive.

India would now be hoping to see their top-order fire after a reticent showdown from their young openers, whose numbers haven't exactly been promising enough to inspire Indian fans in what is the World Cup year.

West Indies, on the other hand, have savored pretty decent form in the shortest format of the game in this series so far and would be hoping to inject their home fans with unbound happiness by thwarting the Indian juggernaut as history teases them for a second time.

Both the sides would hope that their bowling department takes up more responsibilities instead of the entire onus being pinned on their batting unit while a better show of fielding can be a helpful addition to the Caribbean ranks after a bit of a sloppy display in the third game.

With the stakes climbing higher than ever, expect the first game of the series at the Broward County Stadium to be an absolute crackerjack as the history pages may very well be rewritten with a famished West Indies side eyeing success, while India root for their young guns to bring out a display like never before, invoking unstated emotions that must be raging wild in the camp.

Venue Watch:

It has now been a decade since T20Is started in Lauderhill, Florida. Out of the 14 played, 11 games have been won batting first while two have been secured chasing. Broward Stadium has a reputation of being a batting-friendly track with three 200-plus scores laced with four 180-plus innings being played there already. There isn't much on the surface that the bowlers may rejoice about but then again, history holds little value when cricket hits the yard.
