India complete whitewash of West Indies in two-match Test series

India secured the inevitable on Day 5 without much fuss as they fired home the 58 runs required for victory, despite losing out a couple of wickets in the morning session. It was a matter of moments before they completed a clean sweep of the visitors with KL Rahul spearheading the Indian chase, as he stayed unbeaten for another stellar half-century.
Starting the day at 63/1, India lost Sai Sudharsan (39) and Shubman Gill (13) in quick succession. However, with the number of runs that the visitors were defending, it was a matter of a few good shots and a bit of calm which was induced by KL Rahul and the rest of the job was a cakewalk.
Rahul scored 58 while Dhruv Jurel stayed unbeaten for six as India registered a seven wicket-win. Kuldeep Yadav won the Player of the Match award for chronicling eight wickets across both the innings combined while Ravindra Jadeja racked up the Player of the Series award for a compelling show in all the departments.
