India A will be playing three four-day matches against New Zealand A ahead of Indiaโ€™s Test series against New Zealand.

The games will be played from October 24th to November 10th as a preparatory chapter ahead of the crucial series, which will be a battle for survival for India in the latest WTC cycle.

The four-day matches will be running simultaneously alongside Indiaโ€™s white-ball tour of New Zealand, comprising five T20Is and five ODIs, starting from October 22nd until November 15th.

The two Tests to follow will begin on November 19th and 27th. The first Test will be played out in Wellington, while the second contest will be played in Christchurch.

The first A match will be played in Lincoln, followed by the caravan moving to Christchurch. The final game will see the party returning to Lincoln before India take the ultimate battlefield.

In terms of the WTC points table, New Zealand are currently stationed in third place, while India are in fifth position. Both sides will be locking horns with the current table-toppers, Australia, as the competition rolls on.
