I'm looking forward to the World Cup – Rohit Sharma

Fans simply cannot wait to see India in the act as they lock horns with West Indies in less than 24 hours.

Fan-favourite duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, dotingly called by their portmanteau of Ro-Ko will also be marching onto the yard for the ODI series against the Islanders.

Ahead of India’s first ODI against West Indies, former Indian captain Rohit Sharma opened up on his unfinished business.

Talking to JioHotstar, Rohit Sharma made it clear that as long as he is playing, he will be looking forward to something. He also shed some light on the challenge which comes along with playing in a 50-over World Cup.

Rohit said, “The thought will never cross my mind that the business I had is finished. As long as you're playing, there is always something to look forward to. And I'm looking forward to the World Cup, looking at what lies ahead for me.”

He further added, “When the World Cup is played, when we play an ICC tournament, it has its own unique challenge, because you face different opponents, you play at different venues. So, you have to prepare differently, think in a different way and that is the challenge.”
