ICC reveals venues for 2027 Cricket World Cup

The ICC announced the 12 venues across which the tournament will be played, a reveal that has only heightened expectations for fans and players alike. A spectacular ceremony in Johannesburg was held to unveil the 12 venues across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

The global event returns to South Africa after 24 years. The last time Africa hosted a Cricket World Cup, India faced Australia in the grand finale, with the latter walking away with the bragging rights in 2003.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah said, "This marks an exciting milestone on the road to the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027. The unveiling of the host cities and the tournament brand signals the start of a journey that will unite fans around the world and build anticipation for one of our sport's biggest global events."
