I think he's handling it really well: Faf du Plessis on Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has not left a single stone unturned to shake off his sequence of unfortunate dismissals in the ongoing edition of the tournament and yet somehow, he is simply unable to get rid of those gripping shackles.

On a night where the chase seemed to be absolutely ginormous, Kohli got off to a fine start where he would dish out a couple of gorgeous looking strokes that would spark the hopes in the hearts of the RCB fans but it would all fizzle away too shortly as he would fail to connect with Kagiso Rabada’s brutal pace and would end up gloving to Rahul Chahar at the short fine leg.

Faf spoke in detail about the former RCB skipper, highlighting why Kohli has struggled to find his footing despite the best of his efforts. “He's seeing the lighter side of it. Obviously when every single way that you think you can possibly get out, that's just how the game works. Sometimes when you're a little bit under pressure, the game finds ways to keep you under pressure,” he said.

He would also shed some light on what exactly should be going through Virat’s mind at the moment as he said, “All you can really do is make sure you keep working hard, keep a good intensity, a good attitude, keep staying positive knowing that it's around the corner. He played some really good shots tonight and obviously you'd like him to kick on. But I think he's handling it really well. Tough patches are difficult for all of us, but he's in good spirits and he believes it's around the corner.”
