I really admire Virat Kohli: Moeen Ali

Former Indian captain and run-machine, Virat Kohli has always savoured an ever-growing fanbase and the kind of touch he has been of late is a living reminder of the fact that come the fag end of 2023, Kohli is going to be one of India’s most prized weapons at the World Cup.

Not only is Virat an iconic batter but his personality is awe-inspiring and the kind of charisma that he brings along with himself is not something that you can easily forget. With IPL bringing the world of iconic cricketers together, it is not anymore a myth, that one great player shares what he particularly loves about the other.

In one such incident, current CSK all-rounder, Moeen Ali picked his favourite cricketers in the Indian colours. Ahead of Moeen’s first game in the ILT20, when asked about his favourite Indian cricketer, the answer was barely a surprise.

Moeen said, “I really admire Virat Kohli. He is definitely the one, he is somebody else as a player. He is the one you want to play with, spend time with him. He is very unique, I've not met anybody else like him in terms of his personality. Cricket-wise there are so many great players, but as a person, I really love Virat's company. MS Dhoni is very inspiring.”

Moren Ali spent 3 years with RCB, between 2018 and 2020. One of his most memorable moments in RCB colours came at the Eden Gardens where he shared an iconic partnership with Virat Kohli and helped the team take down KKR in their own den.
