I am enjoying playing for RCB – Sayali Satghare

The Royal Challengers are all set to take on the UP Warriorz in less than a few hours, and ss the prep goes on for the last group stage fixture with the chance of qualifying for the final still in sight, RCB all-rounder, Sayali Satghare, opened up on her role and her partnership with Lauren Bell.

Satghare has been in phenomenal touch so far, claiming eight wickets from the four games that she has played at an economy rate of just 7.71.

Talking on the latest episode of RCB Game Day, Satghare spoke at length about how playing for RCB has been an incredible opportunity for her. She also shared a few words about her dynamic with the new ball, where she has been absolutely lethal alongside Bell.

Shedding light about her emotions of playing for RCB and how bowling with the new ball has been, Sayali said (translated from Hindi), “I am enjoying playing for RCB. I enjoy bowling with the new ball. It's the best chance to, you know, swing the ball and get some wickets upfront and obviously that helps the team. If we're taking wickets in the powerplay, then the opponent is already on the back foot.”

Underlining her chemistry with Lauren Bell, Sayali added, “Actually, my job becomes easy when I bowl with her. And if she bowls so many dot balls, then obviously the batter will try to attack the next over. It gives me a chance to take wickets. And I think that's why I can also impact the game with wickets. Credit goes to her also to maintain that pressure from the other end.”
