He is Mr. 361: Ajay Jadeja heaps massive praise on Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan dished out an impeccable showdown in the series finale against Bangladesh, with India yet to register a win on the tour. Riding on Ishan Kishan’s double-century and Virat Kohli’s 72nd international ton, India crafted a historic win against Bangladesh as they inflicted a 227 runs win over their counterparts.
After such a thumping knock, praises started pouring in from all corners of the nation, that spanned from eminent cricketers to pundits. The latest addition to this list was from former Indian cricketer, Ajay Jadeja who was mighty impressed by the phenomenal display of the hard-hitting southpaw.
During a discussion on Sony Sports, Jadeja said, “This generation has grown on this. They are in any case comfortable doing this, but to carry that for such a long time, we see that very less in this generation. Everyone plays such shots these days, don't call only Suryakumar Yadav Mr. 360.”
Jadeja further added, “He(Ishan Kishan) is Mr. 361 because he plays 360-degree and scores a double hundred. He also scored in front of and behind the wickets. This generation has the shot-making ability but the ability to take that innings so long, very few people have what he showed," added the 51-year-old.”
Thanks to Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli’s brilliance, India averted a whitewash and also procured some important momentum that they would like to take forward into the upcoming Test series that will play a crucial part in defining the fate of the WTC finals for the Men in Blue.
