George Garton praises Yuzvendra Chahal’s match-winning effort against PBKS

Yuzvendra Chahal was once again instrumental in RCB’s win that sealed the playoff berth for them. The leg spinner has been in sensational form in the UAE leg of the tournament, helping RCB wade through the challenge of containing the opposition during the middle overs.

George Garton, who too had a decent outing in the win against Punjab Kings, praised the leg-spinner in the post-match press conference.

"I think he (Chahal) bowled brilliantly, he again, he knows that the key role in the middle for him, to come on, with a bit of turn on this pitch and he took crucial wickets at crucial times as well to kind of stem them back," Garton said.

"And he (Chahal) kind of controlled the run-rate and make (made) sure that we had a good chance going into the last four overs and he bowled brilliantly," he added.

Garton, who came in as a replacement for the second leg of the tournament, also talked about the team has performed as a unit.

"You have seen Maxi (Glenn Maxwell) has been in brilliant form, and the whole bowling unit has been good. The confidence is high and everyone is having a great time," he said.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will now face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next game on October 6th in Abu Dhabi.
