Gameday Bold Diaries: RCB-W upbeat and vigilant about Mumbai Indians challenge
The Royal Challengers Bangalore Women will be locking horns against the mighty Mumbai Indians in an important fixture at Chinnaswamy. Currently stationed in the second position of the points table, RCB-W will be hopeful of securing a victory to climb up the ladder while the same can be said for Harmanpreet Kaur-led team.
In one of the latest videos of RCB Bold Diaries, coach Luke Williams and a few stars in Sabbineni Meghana and Sophie Devine shed light on how the team plans to bounce back after a loss.
Head coach, Luke Williams said, “Like in any game, we win or we lose, we will diligently review the game and go through with the things that we have done really well and some things that we feel that we can improve on. There were aspects of both in the last game. We’re really excited to take those in the Mumbai Indians game and try and build on our performance. We still feel that our best cricket is in front of us.”
Experienced and in-form batter, Sabbhineni Meghana said, “We have discussed at the start of the tournament. Also, winning and losing is a part of the game. It’s important for us how fast we can move on from that loss and just remember the last two games and play our best cricket.”
Sophie Devine said, “Despite the loss in the last game, we have got plenty of motivation. I thought that we were actually really good in big parts of the last game. I think we have to make sure that we take the positives out of it and look forward to a big game against Mumbai.”
