Ellyse Perry bags a prized double at Cricket Australia Awards for 2023

It was a gala night at Crown Palladium in Melbourne as the best performers in Australian cricket were awarded for their year-long brilliance in 2023. Not only were the stars in the Aussie threads ennobled with honour but even impressive displays in the domestic circuit by the Australian youngsters were handed over their due share of glory.

RCB-W all-rounder, Ellyse Perry, bagged a double at the gala night for her incredible performances through the year in the Australian colours. Perry clinched both the WT20I and WODI cricketer of the year award in 2023 for her reckoning performances across both the formats. 

Perry scored 467 runs from the 12 ODIs that she played in at an average of 66.71 while claiming a wicket too. In T20Is, she hammered 319 runs from the 14 matches that she played at a strike rate of 151.18 while claiming six wickets in the shortest format of the game.
