Cricket Australia releases schedule for India tour of Australia
The much-awaited schedule for India tour of Australia is out. Cricket Australia on Wednesday announced the schedule for the 3-month long tour which will saw Team India take on Australia in three ODIs, as many T20Is and four Test matches.
The first ODI is scheduled to be held on November 27 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The same venue will play the host to the second ODI on November 29th, post which the teams will move to Canberra where Manuka Oval is scheduled to host the last ODI on December 2nd.
The three-match T20I series will begin on December 4th with Canberra hosting the opening game. The last two games on December 6th and *th will be played in Sydney.
After the culmination of the limited over fixtures, the Test series will kick off with a historic game, the first ever day-night Test between the two sides, on December 17th in Adelaide.
The four-match Test series will conclude at Gabba, Brisbane which will host the last Test from January 15th to 19th.
The Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli will leave for Australia on November 12th after the completion of the Indian Premier League. Members of the team who are not a part of the IPL have already arrived in the UAE where the 13th edition of the mega tournament is on.
On their arrival, the Indian contingent have to undergo a 14-day quarantine. According to reports, players will be allowed to train at the quarantine facility
