BCCI announce squad for the final three Tests of the England series

BCCI announced the squad for the final three Test matches of the series against England, and the biggest talking point was Virat Kohli’s prolonged absence. Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been named in the squad, but they are subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team. Rohit Sharma will continue to lead the side while Jasprit Bumrah will be his deputy for the next three fixtures.

Akash Deep, who plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, has been called up to the squad for the final three Test matches while Shreyas Iyer was sidelined. RCB’s Rajat Patidar retained his spot and so did Sarfaraz Khan, who was called up for the second Test.

The third Test of the series will start on February 15th in Rajkot while the fourth Test will be happening in Ranchi from 23rd February. The final Test of the series will be played in Dharamsala from March 7th.
