Amazing to watch Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers go about their business: Josh Phillipe

Western Australia's batting sensation Josh Philippe made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dream11 IPL 2020. 

The keeper-batsman spent most of the time on the sidelines as AB de Villiers assumed the role of a wicket-keeper throughout the tournament. Josh, who is currently the top run-getter of the ongoing Big Bash League, spoke about his experience of playing in the Indian Premier League.  

In an exclusive interview with Cricket Australia, the 21-year-old felt that the humid conditions in the UAE were quite challenging. "The conditions, more than anything. I have never played T20 cricket in such hot and humid conditions. It was really uncomfortable in most of the games I've played. " - Josh said. 

With Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the line-up, Josh got the opportunity to play alongside some of the modern-day greats. Reminiscing his time with the franchise, he feels it was an 'amazing experience' to watch Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers go about their business. 

"For me, it was just amazing to watch guys like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers go out there and pretty much read the situation and read the scenario, and go about their business. It was just an amazing experience all around." - he added.
