AB de Villiers is the toughest to bowl to: Kuldeep Yadav

There are very few modern-day batsmen who leave a lasting impact in the bowler's mind with their intuitive and versatile capabilities.

In an interview hosted by ESPNCricinfo, Kuldeep Yadav named AB de Villiers as the most challenging batsman he ever bowled to. Arguably one of the smartest cricketers to have ever played the game, AB de Villiers continues to pose a big threat to the bowlers in the shortest format. 

“In ODIs, AB de Villiers is a good player. He has a unique style. Now that he’s retired, it’s a good thing! But other than him, I haven’t found any other batsman who I am scared will hit me for a lot of runs,” Kuldeep Yadav was quoted as saying. 

Backed up by impressive stats, the Kul-Cha (Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal) liaison has exhibited innumerable match-winning performances for India. Kuldeep Yadav shared his camaraderie with Yuzvendra Chahal. He asserted that Chahal has always been like an elder brother-like figure to him. 

"He has always taken care of me, like an elder brother. Even now, after playing so many matches together, even off the field, he gives me advice on cricket as well as off cricket. He supports me, and this bond is visible on the field as well. We've never had a competition between us, irrespective of which of us gets picked to play,” he further added.
