While International cricket is underway with the #RaiseTheBat Test series, England and Wales Cricket Board [ECB] on Thursday named a 24-member white-ball squad.

Despite being overlooked by the Test selectors, Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy were included in the white-ball training group ahead of the series against Ireland, beginning from 30 July.

The Morgan-led group will start their outdoor training sessions from 16 July at the Ageas Bowl. The bio-secure bubble that is already being implemented in the Test series, will be facilitated in order to comply with the health protocols.

With England's Test series against the West Indies and Pakistan overlapping with the limited-over fixtures against Ireland, it is quite evident that the selectors haven't included Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Mark Wood, and Jofra Archer in the assigned white-ball group.

The 24-member group is slated to play two intra-squad games on July 21 and 24, which will assist the coaches to zero in on the final squad for the upcoming ODI series. England's assistant coach, Paul Collingwood, will take over the head coaching responsibilities, ably supported by Marcus Trescothick, who will be in charge of the batting department.

ECB Performance Director, Mo Bobat, lauded the efforts of all the county teams, who have displayed an unwavering commitment to ensuring England's safe return to the International fold.

"As was the case with our Test preparations, the support that we have received from counties during our ODI return to training phase has been fantastic. Running concurrent training programmes across formats for a large pool of players has been a novel challenge and we are very appreciative of the commitment that counties have shown towards the national cause, particularly as they have been managing their own return to training," Mo Bobat was quoted as saying in a press release.

England's 24-member white-ball group:

Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jonathan Bairstow, Tom Banton, Sam Billings, Henry Brookes, Brydon Carse, Tom Curran, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Laurie Evans, Richard Gleeson, Lewis Gregory, Sam Hain, Tom Helm, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Matthew Parkinson, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, James Vince, David Willey.
