A superb performance from Richard Gleeson saw him finish as the joint-highest wicket-taker in England’s recently concluded 100-ball league.
Gleeson racked up 14 wickets at a strike rate of 9.92, leapfrogging others in the contest.
Gleeson was a part of the London side, playing eight games for the team. His performance of 4/25 against Leeds was the tip of the spear for the pacer. Gleeson was joined by Josh Tongue who registered 14 wickets too from 10 games at a strike rate of 13.92.
Despite London not making the cut for the play-offs, Gleeson’s performance was certainly one of the most radiating highlights for his side. Gleeson’s consistency throughout the tournament is a major boost for the English speedster.
